PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade body, a label issuing device, and an oil coating method to the blade body which can apply oil easily with a simple structure.SOLUTION: One blade body (a fixed blade 42) in cutting means for cutting a label sheet whose one face is an adhesive layer with shearing action by a pair of blade bodies comprises an oil holding body 48 which is provided on a surface (a slide contact surface 42b) in slide contact with the other blade body (a movable blade 41), and applies oil 80 for preventing an adhesive agent of the label sheet from adhering to the other blade body (the movable blade 41). The oil holding body 48 has a fiber part 48a formed by electrostatically implanting a short fiber. When the other blade body comes into slide contact with the slide contact surface 42b of one blade body (the fixed blade 42), the oil holding body 48 applies the oil 80 to the other blade body (the movable blade 41).
