PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization device for game machines capable of continuing its sterilization effect over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A sterilization device 1 for game machines includes ultraviolet ray irradiation parts 23, 23 for radiating ultraviolet ray to an operation part 5 that players operate in a game machine 3. The ultraviolet ray irradiation part 23 may, for example, be configured by a deep-ultraviolet LED. By the sterilization device 1 for game machines configured as above, an irradiation of ultraviolet ray from the ultraviolet ray irradiation parts 23, 23 to the operation part 5 can promote the sterilization of the operation part 5. Accordingly, different from a technique where antibacterial material is applied to the operation part 5 itself, as no decline in the sterilization effect occurs due to the wear and elution of the antibacterial material, a sterilization effect same as an initial state can be continued for a longer period of time. |
