PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge scrub brush improving all functions in a well balance manner by enhancing detergency, water absorption, and a forming property of a first sponge layer facing a deterging object in use of the scrub brush, and thereby improving original functions of the sponge scrub brush, and also by discharging hot or cold water and detergent moved from the first sponge layer from bubbles in an intermediate layer after the use of the scrub brush, and thereby improving a foam elimination property, drainability and quick-drying property.SOLUTION: A sponge scrub brush comprises a laminate structure including a sponge layer made of an elastic porous material including open cells. A scrub body is a columnar body. The sponge layer includes: a first sponge layer constituting a surface layer forming an upper bottom face of the columnar body; and a second sponge layer constituting an intermediate layer interposed between a rear face layer forming a lower bottom face of the columnar body and the first sponge layer. The second sponge layer is formed such that the number of cells which is the number of bubbles per unit is smaller and the bubbles are coarser than the first sponge layer. |
