A fused fluoranthene compound comprising at least one structure represented by formula (1): wherein each of R1 to R10 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and adjacent two groups selected from R1 to R10 may be bonded to each other to form a saturated or unsaturated ring structure, provided that at least one pair of R7 and R8, and R9 and R10 are bonded to each other to from a ring structure represented by formula (2): wherein X1 represents N(R15), a sulfur atom, or an oxygen atom; each of R11 to R15 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; adjacent two groups selected from R11 to R15 may be bonded to each other to form a saturated or unsaturated ring structure; and *1 and *2 are bonded to carbon atoms to which R7 and R8 or R9 and R10 are bonded.
