The purpose of the present invention is to provide an insect pest-controlling tool which is capable of suppressing the transpiration of an insecticide contained in an insecticide-holding member, said transpiration of the insecticide being caused by unnecessary heat generation by a heat source when used either indoor or outdoor within a short period of time, which is repeatedly usable and which is capable of transpiring the insecticide while preventing the insecticide-holding member from being taken out by babies or infants. To achieve this purpose, provided is a heat evaporation type insect pest-controlling tool comprising a container (1), a heat source (2) that is housed in the container (1) and provided with a heating element (21) generating heat when exposed to oxygen, and an insecticide-holding part (3) that is formed on the outer surface of the heat source (2) and contains an insecticide, wherein the container (1) is provided with ventilation holes (111) communicating the inside and outside of the container (1) and a lid (12) capable of freely opening and closing the ventilation holes (111). |
