摘要 The invention relates to the field of atomic energy, and more particularly to designs of U-Pu fast reactor cores. The invention is novel in that, in fuel-enrichment sub-zones, installed fuel assemblies contain one of four types of fuel elements and (or) all four types of fuel elements, wherein each of the four types of fuel elements in each sub-zone has a neutron multiplication factor (K) and an actinide reproduction factor (KB), which are different for each type of fuel element and which correspond to one of four radionuclide evolution phases: a subcritical-mode enrichment phase, where КВ> 1 and К <1; a supercritical-mode enrichment phase, where КВ> 1 and К >1; a supercritical-mode burnout phase, where KB<1 and K>1; a subcritical-mode burnout phase, where KB<1 and K<1; the positioning of the fuel assembly with the fuel elements allows for each fuel element to consecutively undergo all of the radionuclide evolution phases, and allows for mutually compensating the radionuclide evolution phases while complying with the integral equations К ≈ 1 and KB ≈ 1 during the entire time of operation of the reactor core; fuel elements corresponding to the fourth radionuclide evolution phase may contain the spent nuclear fuel of other types of nuclear reactors, not only following processing, but also with the preservation of nuclide composition.
