According to the present invention, a ceramic tile for a salt farm is in the shape of a square with a side of approximately 13-15 cm and the thickness of approximately 12-16 mm, has angles of inclination of approximately 45° in the X direction and the Y direction, and is made of a raw material including Korean kaolin, pottery soil, Malaysian white clay, and Malaysian kaolin. Preferably, a black glaze is applied to the ceramic tile of the present invention to increase an evaporation effect of seawater by using radiant heat. The raw material preferably contains 30-40 wt% of Korean kaolin, 40-50 wt% of pottery soil, 5-15 wt% of Malaysian white clay, and 5-15 wt% of Malaysian kaolin. The ceramic tile for a salt farm of the present invention is manufactured by: mixing the Korean kaolin, the pottery soil, the Malaysian white clay, and the Malaysian kaolin at a mixing ratio stated earlier and grinding the same in a ball mill; sieving the ground raw material composition by using a 200 mesh powder sieve; making the sieved raw material composition into the shape of a ceramic tile by a press process; drying the ceramic tile shape for 24 hours; applying a glaze to an upper side of the dried tile; and sintering the tile to which the glaze has been applied in a fire furnace at 1250°C for three hours. |
