PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe, roller member, fixing device, and image forming apparatus with which a reduction in temperature of a non-paper feeding area by the heat pipe is sufficiently performed even when small-sized sheets are continuously fed and the temperature of the non-paper feeding area is excessively increased, in a state where the fixing device is inclined in the width direction or a state where the heat pipe itself is inclined.SOLUTION: In a heat pipe 26 extending over the width direction to include a paper-feeding area M0 in the width direction corresponding to a recording medium P of the maximum feedable size, a neck part 26c (partition part) is formed at the center in the width direction, which partitions a hydraulic fluid stored at one end side in the width direction (first heat pipe part 26a) from a hydraulic fluid stored at the other end side in the width direction (second heat pipe part 26b) so that both hydraulic fluids are not mixed with each other. |
