PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of minimizing a shift amount by a registration roller from a first sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes exposure equipment, and a registration roller pair 110a and 110b for sandwiching sheets and conveying them along a conveying direction that shifts the sheets being conveyed toward a width direction orthogonal to the conveying direction. The image forming device also includes a CIS 141 for detecting a side end position in the width direction of the conveyed sheets. A control part of the image forming device determines an image writing position for a first sheet on the basis of the result of the detection by the CIS 141 for the first sheet, and, on the basis of this, controls image writing of the exposure equipment. On the basis of the image writing position determined for the first sheet, and the result of the detection by the CIS 141 for a second sheet following the first sheet, the control part determines a shift amount of the registration roller pair 110a and 110b for the second sheet, and controls the operation. |
