A cooking tunnel comprises upper and lower heating means (8, 9) and a conveyor belt (1) for transferring a product to be cooked through the tunnel . Both the upper and lower heating means are IR panels (8, 9) protected under glass plates (26, 27) facing the product to be cooked. The conveyor belt (1) has at least a layer of PFTE for contact with the product and is supported by the lower glass plate (26) . |
