A battery terminal (10) connected and affixed to a battery post (P) is characterized by comprising: a terminal body (20) having a pair of facing plates (21) and a pair of connection plates (40) which vertically connects the front edges of the pair of facing plates (21); a post fitting section (27) into which the battery post (P) is fitted; a pair of sections (28) to be pressed, which is provided at the front end of the post fitting section (27) so as to be displaceable in the width direction; a bracket (50) which is gripped by a booster mechanism (60) together with the pair of sections (28) to be pressed, thereby pressing the pair of sections (28) in the direction in which the pair of sections (28) approach each other and connecting and affixing the post fitting section (27) to the battery post (P); and a pair of attitude holding sections (55) provided to the bracket (50) so as to be close to the pair of connection plates (40) and capable of abutting or being in surface contact with the rear surfaces (40A) of the connection plates (40). |
