The present invention relates to a battery module comprising multiple battery cells. Provided is a battery module comprising: a unit module stack having multiple unit modules, where the battery cells are mounted on a cartridge, stacked vertically with respect to the ground, and having one or more through-holes punched in the cartridge; an upper end plate and a lower end plate for supporting the upper end and the lower end of the unit module stack respectively, wherein a first coupling hole is punched in the upper end plate to communicate with the through-holes and a second coupling hole is punched in the lower end plate to communicate with the through-hole; a module housing for enveloping one or more side surfaces of the unit module stack, which has been mounted on top of the lower end plate, and the lower end surface of the lower plate and having a third coupling hole punched to communicate with the second coupling hole; a first coupling member having a through-hole for inserting the second coupling member punched along a central axis and combined with the second coupling hole after passing through the first coupling hole and the second coupling hole; and a second coupling member inserted into the through-hole of the first coupling member and combined with the third coupling hole. |
