The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a refrigerator. The apparatus for controlling a refrigerator comprises: a door opening and closing detection unit detecting a door of a refrigerator to be opened and closed; a temperature detection unit detecting an inside temperature of each room of the refrigerator; and a control unit setting an inside temperature to a lower limit temperature than a predetermined lower limit temperature in case the door is opened for the inside temperature of a room corresponding to the door to be raised more than a set temperature, and controlling a lower limit temperature reaching time for an inside temperature to rapidly reach a desired lower limit temperature in case the inside temperature of a room corresponding to the door is raised more than a set temperature. |
