PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous control mechanism for a timing tool.SOLUTION: Provided is a timing tool, watch or music box including an auditory display mechanism 100 for a striking timing tool. The auditory display mechanism 100 comprises plural control components 1 arranged in a step-state in a parallel plane for a same time measurement parameter, and further comprises melody selection means 3 configured to be operated by operation of a user or a movement of the timing tool. The melody selection means 3 controls or prevents approach of the control components 1 to a common snail 2 corresponding to the time measurement parameter, so as to allow only one control components to operate at least one lever 4 for controlling motion of a hammer, and plays a melody specific to the control component 1 or starts at least one gong specific to the control component 1. |
