PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable remote controlling of applications running on mobile phones and other mobile devices from external devices such as in-vehicle infotainment systems, televisions, or control panels within personal residences.SOLUTION: First output of a mobile electronic device is converted into a first HTML file. The first HTML file is transmitted from the mobile electronic device to a remote electronic device. Second output is presented on the remote electronic device dependent upon the first HTML file received by the remote electronic device. Data is transmitted from the remote electronic device to the mobile electronic device. The data from the remote electronic device is processed within an application (of the mobile electronic device). Third output is produced within the mobile electronic device based on the processing of the data from the remote electronic device. The third output of the mobile electronic device is converted into a second HTML file. The second HTML file is transmitted from the mobile electronic device to the remote electronic device. |
