The arrangement has a kink (18) formed in the base of a gutter (12) extending from a flanged edge (10) which extends an upper end (8) of an edge of a body shell (4). A roof (6) is lowered on the edge so that an end (7) of the roof contacts a support surface (22) formed by the kink. The kink has a shape similar as that of an extrusion formed in the base, and the surface (22) presents an upper end connected to the base by a maintenance surface (24). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a fixing arrangement.
