The hose (1) has a rubber band or elastic lace (2) with a unit (3) having a tri-component silicone foam structure to support and to adhere to the skin on the leg of a person. One of the components contains a catalyst agent, another component contains an inhibiting agent, and the third component is an expanding agent. The expanding agent has a deformability effect during its positioning on the leg of the person to adapt to the shape of the leg. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing and depositing a unit on a stay-up hose.
