The puzzle has pieces in the form of a trace fit between them in a horizontal surface and in their thickness for forming a stable superposition of an assembly. A logical order, based on chronological events e.g. historical events, should be observed for mounting the puzzle. The puzzle can be made in an inverse manner as the assembly can be disassembled for discovering the assembly.
