Provided are a display device with which the desired angle of inclination can easily be set for each type of device, the quality of the exterior appearance of the product is not reduced, and with which a retaining body for a display unit and an attachment structure for a stand can be provided as a common structure. Also provided is a television receiver equipped with this display device. The display device is equipped with: a chassis (7) that holds a display unit that includes a display panel for displaying images; stands (6) that support the chassis (7); and attachment fixtures (8) for attaching the stand (6) to the chassis (7). The attachment fixtures (8) have screw insertion holes, and the chassis (7) has screw-locking parts (71), which have holes having female screws, and bases provided at the perimeters of the holes. The height of the screw-locking parts (71) differs in the vertical direction of the chassis (7). |
