The present invention relates to an apparatus for examining a belt test and a method thereof, which recognizes taekwondo poomsae based on human skeleton using depth camera, and automatically decides pass or fail of a belt using a depth camera test. The present invention comprises: an object feature extracting unit which extracts object features input from the depth camera; a motion defining unit for defining various motions of the object; a motion recognizing unit which recognizes behaviors of the object using information obtained from the object feature extracting unit and the motion defining unit; and a decision unit which decides accuracy of the object motion confirmed from the motion recognizing unit. |
