PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube type tire for a heavy load capable of reducing rolling resistance without impairing durability.SOLUTION: A tube type tire 1 for a heavy load comprises a carcass 6 and a bead apex rubber 8. In a no-load normal state, an outer end 5o in a tire radial direction of a bead core 5 is positioned further inside in the tire radial direction than an outer end Fo in the tire radial direction of a flange F of a normal rim. The bead apex rubber 8 has: a first bead apex rubber 8a provided inside in a tire shaft direction; and a second bead apex rubber 8b that is provided further outside in the tire shaft direction than the first bead apex rubber 8a and made of a rubber with small rubber hardness and small loss tangent tan δ. A thickness T1o in the tire shaft direction of the first bead apex rubber 8a in a region further outside in a tire radial direction than the outer end Fo is smaller than a thickness T2o in the tire shaft direction of the second bead apex rubber 8b. |
