PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display device that suppresses horizontal cracking.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a display device includes the processes of: preparing a multi-surface board which has a structure having a first substrate and a second substrate stuck together and is to be parted into a plurality of products; scribing the first substrate; curving and breaking the scribed first substrate; chemically polishing and making the broken first substrate and second substrate thin; scribing the chemically polished second substrate; and curving and breaking the scribed second substrate. In the processes of chemically polishing and making the first and second substrates thin, opposite faces of parted adjacent parts of the first substrate are etched. In the process of breaking the second substrate, the first substrate is curved while avoiding mutual contact between end parts of the opposite surfaces at least on an outer surface side of the first substrate as the second substrate is curved.
