An attenuator (10) equipped with: a first high-frequency signal input/output terminal (Port1) and a second high-frequency signal input/output terminal (Port2); a switch circuit (11); multiple resistors (201, 202); and a variable capacitor (210). The multiple resistors (201, 202) are connected in parallel with respect to the first high-frequency signal input/output terminal (Port1). The switch circuit (11) is equipped with multiple selectable terminals (Pp1, Pp2) respectively connected to the resistors (201, 202), and a common terminal (Pc) which is connected to the second high-frequency signal input/output terminal (Port2), and to which the multiple selectable terminals (Pp1, Pp2) can be selectively connected. The variable capacitor (210) is connected in series with the resistor (202), and comprises a structure which is not equipped with a diode structure. |
