A floor fountain is provided to prevent foreign materials from being inserted into a spray nozzle and a mounting groove using a nozzle covering the spray nozzle. The floor fountain(1) is composed of a horizontal support plate(10) horizontally installed in a mounting groove formed on the floor; a hollow guide(20) vertically installed at the center bottom side of the horizontal support plate; a spray nozzle(30) elastically installed in the guide by a spring(40) to move up and down and provided with an upper part penetrating through the center of the horizontal support plate and a water inflow hole(30b) formed at the lower section, into which water flows; a pair of vertical support plates(50) separately installed at left and right sides on the center upside of the horizontal support plate; a pair of nozzle covers(60) movably installed at each vertical support plate to cover the spray nozzle; and a lighting lamp(70) mounted on the upside of the horizontal support plate. When the water is not sprayed, the spray nozzle is moved down by the spring. When the high pressure water is supplied to the spray nozzle, the spray nozzle is moved up by pressure of the water fed through the lower end of the guide and the nozzle cover is opened by the lifted spray nozzle.
