The invention relates to a camera, comprising a camera housing (11), which has a housing middle part (20), which is closed at open end faces (24, 25) of the housing middle part opposite each other by means of covering parts (40, 60), wherein one of the covering parts (40, 60) has an objective retainer (42) for an objective (12) of the camera (10), and wherein an image-recording sensor assembly (13) is arranged behind the objective retainer (42) in an interior (18) of the camera housing (11), wherein at least one of the covering parts (40, 60) has at least one fastening projection (50), which extends through the housing middle part (20) or past the housing middle part (20) to a fastening receptacle (70) of the other covering part (40, 60), wherein the at least one fastening projection (50) is connected to the covering part (60) having the fastening receptacle (70) by means of fasteners (90) in a tension-resistant manner with respect to a longitudinal axis (L) of the camera housing (11) extending between the end faces (24, 25) of the housing middle part (20), such that the housing middle part (20) is fastened between the covering parts (40, 60). According to the invention, form-closure contours are provided on the covering parts (40, 60), which form-closure contours are in form-closed engagement with each other when the camera housing (11) is in the assembled state, which engagement provides fastening or support in directions that are opposite to each other and that are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L). |
