PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that couples to a surgical instrument itself.SOLUTION: A surgical imaging device includes: a housing configured to detachably couple to an outer surface of a surgical device; and an image capture arrangement situated in the housing and configured to capture an image to provide image data. The housing may be configured to slidingly couple to the surgical device or to couple to the surgical device via a strap member. The image data generated by the image capture arrangement may include still image data or video data. |
