PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing in which it is not necessary to continue to supply a high-pressure liquid, and an expense related to the supply can be reduced.SOLUTION: A bearing member 11 is upwardly opened, forms a cylindrical shape having a bearing face 11a at a lower part, and holds a lubrication fluid 14 therein. A shaft part 13 is arranged while protruding from a rotating body 12 along the rotating shaft so as to rotatably support the rotating body 12 which rotates with a rotating shaft in a vertical direction as a center. The shaft part 13 is formed into a circular columnar shape, and inserted into the bearing member 11 from an opening 11b. The shaft part 13 rotates together with the rotating body 12, and a thread 13a is formed at an outside face so that the lubrication fluid 14 generates a flow which flows downward by rotation. The shaft part 13 is arranged at an interval between the thread 13a and an inside face 11c of the bearing member 11. |
