PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage device in which the safety to the electric storage device with a capacitor is secured in the work.SOLUTION: An electric storage device includes: a capacitor 92 for storing electric power; high voltage wiring 93b connected to an anode side of the capacitor 92; a breaker 95 for switching between the energization of the capacitor 92 and the high voltage wiring 93b, and the shutdown of the energization; a main cover member 97 for covering high voltage wiring 93b; a detaching/attaching detection sensor 99 for detecting whether or not the main cover member 97 is removed from the high voltage wiring 93b; and control devices 50, 52 for controlling the breaker 95 and cutting off the energization between the capacitor 92 and the high voltage wiring 93b, when the detaching/attaching detection sensor 99 detects that the main cover member 97 is removed from the high voltage wiring 93b. |
