Disclosed are a high-capacity continuously variable capacitor and a setting method therefor. The high-capacity continuously variable capacitor comprises two movable pole plates, two pole columns and a rotary shaft, wherein each of the movable pole plates is a conductor belt clad in an insulator; each of the pole columns is made of a conductor and is a rotary shaft which can rotate by taking an axial line thereof as an axis; one end of each of the two movable pole plates is fixed to the rotary shaft after being connected to one another through an insulator, and the other end thereof is respectively connected to each of the two pole columns; and the conductor portions of the movable pole plates come into direct contact with the pole columns, and the length of the two movable pole plates is the same, and is larger than the distance from the pole columns to the rotary shaft. The present invention has the technical effects that by taking two conductor belts of which one end is in insulated connection as pole plates, in the actual operation, the capacitance is changed by coiling and separating the two conductor belts, since the coiled conductor belts occupy a relatively small space, the high-capacity continuously variable capacitor of the present invention can also maintain a relatively small volume while achieving the continuous variation of capacitance of 10 μF or more, and at the same time, a rated voltage during operation can be made into a low voltage or a high voltage by selecting different insulating materials; and the high-capacity continuously variable capacitor of the present invention may not generate an electromagnetic interference signal, has a very wide application range, and can be applied to the aspects of accurate circuit tuning, accurate filtering, continuous boost and buck, reactive power full compensation for electric power, stepless speed variation for an electric motor, etc. |
