A method and device for sending a road safety message. The method comprises: determining a location relationship with a specified area; and adjusting sending of a road safety message according to the location relationship with the specified area. The road safety message is sent only when the location relationship with the specified area satisfies a preset condition, and the road safety message is not sent at any time; or a sending parameter of the sent road safety message is changed when the location relationship with the specified area satisfies the preset condition. Therefore, the waste of communication resources is reduced, and the probability that the communication quality of V2V, V2I, V2P and P2I is dramatically lowered due to system congestion caused by sending of the road safety message at any time is reduced, and collaborative active safety warning performance is ensured. |
