The present invention relates to a device and method to prevent a bicycle from being stolen and, more specifically, to a device and method to prevent a bicycle from being stolen which informs a user of bicycle theft by actively alarming strong buzzer sounds when a bicycle is stolen, rapidly transmits the accurate position information of the bicycle promptly to a smart device of the user, and easily recovers the bicycle by providing the tracking path of the current smart device and the bicycle to smart device of the user in real-time. The device to prevent a bicycle from being stolen comprises: a communication part which transmits the current position information of a bicycle to a smart device of a user; a sensor part which senses the vibrating or tilting of the bicycle; a main control part which allows the communication part to transmit the current position information to the smart device of the user when the bicycle is stolen; a power source part which supplies power to the communication part, the sensor part, and the main control part; and an input/output part which turns on/off the main control part and the power source part or supplies external power to the power source part. |
