Disclosed are a non-volatile memory system, and a method for operating a non-volatile memory system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the non-volatile memory system comprises: a non-volatile memory device including a non-volatile memory cell array and a page buffer; and a memory controller for loading mapping data stored in the non-volatile memory cell array in the page buffer, and converting a logical address into a physical address based on the mapping data loaded in the page buffer, when the logical address is received from the outside. |
