FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of bearing racer. Claimed process comprises shaping the racer from at least one steel strip with two ends to at least one circular segment and butt fusion welding said circular segment ends to get the racer. This process comprises also the carbonization of at least the portion of said steel strip abutting on the surface to be butt welded to be executed before said butt fusion welding.EFFECT: simplified production, higher hardness, wear resistance and fatigue strength.11 cl, 11 dwg
