PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over the initialization processing of each device when returning from a sleep state, in an adaptive manner to the function of a setting screen to be displayed.SOLUTION: In an image formation device, including a plurality of devices and power supply means for supplying power to each device to shift to a second power state lower than a first power state, a specific function is registered beforehand as the setting screen to be displayed when returning from the second power state. Then, in response to the acceptance of a request to cancel the second power state, it is judged whether or not the specific function is registered. On judgment that the specific function is registered, power is supplied also to the movable part of a device corresponding to the registered specific function, so that the initialization processing is executed. On the other hand, on judgment that the specific function is not registered, the initialization processing is executed without supplying power to the movable part of the device corresponding to the registered specific function. |
