<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus, a method thereof, and a program capable of avoiding sound jump of audio and disturbance of video outputs while maintaining AV synchronization with high accuracy even when a display delay time (dt) is changed. <P>SOLUTION: When no audio is output from a sound output processing section and sound output sections 131, 132, a data processing apparatus 100 takes highly accurate synchronization between video and audio and starts an audio output, and when audio is output from the sound output processing section and the sound output sections 131, 132 and the display delay time by an arithmetic circuit 125 is changed, the data processing apparatus 100 uses the display delay time just before the change to continue the audio output, and when the audio output is temporarily stopped and the output is resumed, the data processing apparatus 100 uses the newest display delay time by the arithmetic circuit 125 to take again the synchronization between the video and the audio with high accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
