An M2M communication architecture and an information interaction method and device. The M2M communication architecture comprises a first terminal-side middleware and a network-side middleware or a second terminal-side middleware which is connected to the first terminal-side middleware, wherein the first terminal-side middleware or the second terminal-side middleware is located between a terminal-side application and an underlying network service; the first terminal-side middleware or the second terminal-side middleware comprises a module for resource abstraction and a module for semantic processing; and the network-side middleware is located between a network-side application and the underlying network service, and the network-side middleware comprises a module for resource abstraction and a module for semantic processing. The embodiments of the present invention solve the problem in the related art of how to achieve interoperation using resource abstraction and semantics in an M2M communication process, thereby improving the expandability and interoperability of an Internet of things system. |
