A method and device for tunnel re-optimization path computation. The method comprises: when a head node of a pre-set tunnel is configured with a tunnel re-optimization function and the bandwidth of the pre-set tunnel is not zero, sending, by the head node, a path (PATH) packet carrying record route object (RRO) information about the pre-set tunnel to a downstream node; when a tail node of the pre-set tunnel receives the PATH packet carrying the RRO information about the pre-set tunnel, sending, by the tail node, a reserved (RESV) packet carrying the RRO information about the pre-set tunnel to an upstream node; and when the head node of the pre-set tunnel initiates re-optimization path computation, sending, by the head node, the RRO information about the pre-set tunnel to a path computation element (PCE). The method guarantees that path information (RRO information) used by a current tunnel can be acquired when a tunnel the bandwidth of which is not zero initiates re-optimization path computation, thereby improving the success rate of the path computation of a PCE. |
