GASOLINE ALTERNATIVE ALCOHOL-BASED FUEL COMPOSITION

A gasoline alternative alcohol-based fuel composition according to the present invention comprises: (A) 10 to 60 vol% of methanol or ethanol; (B) 10 to 55 vol% of an alkane-based hydrocarbon; (C) 5 to 35 vol% of an alkene-based hydrocarbon; (D) 0.5 to 15 vol% of a hydrocarbon additive having molecular formula of CnH2n+2O (n is 4 to 10); (E) 10 to 25 vol% of an aromatic compound; and (F) 2 to 10 vol% of an aliphatic hydrocarbon compound or an isomer thereof (provided that, the vol% means the % proportion of the volume occupied by each element on the basis the overall fuel composition). As (D) the hydrocarbon additive, a mixture of n-alcohol or an isomer thereof and ether, each of which has molecular formula of CnH2n+2O (n is 4 to 10), is used.
