The present invention relates to a multi-channel image storage management apparatus considering a lifetime of a storage medium and a method thereof and, more particularly, to an apparatus which stores an image frame received from a plurality of channels in an image file in order of reception, and uses a method for storing the image frame by continuously generating a new image file when the capacity of the image file is full, thereby reducing the number of the generated image files to prevent the shortening of the lifetime of the storage medium caused by fragmentation and a frequent head movement, and endlessly recording an image. |
