FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: technique involves X-ray contrast examination of a thyroid gland (TG) by thyroid lymphography by introducing an X-ray contrast agent into an experimental animal's (REX rat) parenchyma of left thyroid. Omnipaque, a water-soluble X-ray contrast agent is administered in an amount of 0.2 ml; at the 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20and 40minute following the administration, a distribution of the X-ray contrast agent is assessed on a thyreogram. Lipiodol, a fat-soluble X-ray contrast agent is administered in an amount of 0.2 ml into the parenchyma of left thyroid; its distribution is assessed at the same time of the examination in minutes. There are identified four versions of the distribution of the above X-ray contrast agents onto a counterlateral thyroid: sanguinic - if the water-soluble contrast agent is only one to distribute that indicates the presence of the separated lymph efflux and the cross blood supply of thyroid lobes; lymphatic - if the fat-soluble contrast agent is the only one to distribute that indicates the presence of the cross lymph efflux and the separated blood supply; combined - if observing the distribution of both X-ray contrast agents that is characteristic of the cross lymph efflux and the cross blood supply; and separated - if none of the X-ray contrast agents has distributed over the counterlateral lobe, the separated lymph efflux and blood supply in each thyroid lobe are stated.EFFECT: method enables stating a version of interlobar connections of the thyroid lobes and an interaction of its anatomical lobes.4 dwg |
