The present invention relates to a trailer fifth wheel coupling emergency release arrangement (1) comprising a fifth wheel coupling arrangement (3) for coupling a trailer (5) to a towing vehicle (7) and a connecting device (9) connecting the fifth wheel coupling arrangement (3) to the towing vehicle (7). The trailer fifth wheel coupling emergency release arrangement (1) comprises at least one pyrotechnical charge(21)arranged at said connecting device (9) and at least one igniter (21), said igniter being adapted to, when receiving a rollover emergency signal, bring said pyrotechnical charge (21) to detonate to destroy the connecting function of said connecting device (9) for releasing the fifth wheel coupling arrangement (3) from the towing vehicle (7), thereby releasing the trailer(5)from the towing vehicle(7).. |
