PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new treatment methods that can be used alone or in combination with existing treatment modalities by modulating sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor activity to inflammatory diseases of the peripheral nervous system, associated with complications or failure to induce a long-lasting remission in conventional treatment methods.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method comprising a step of administering an effective amount of FTY720 to a subject with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) or other autoimmune neuropathies. |
