Provided is a system and method for assisting in searching for a cooperating provider whereby assistance is provided to allow a medical facility or a care facility to quickly and easily search for another medical facility or care facility, or other external facility, that cooperates with the original facility in order to examine, treat, etc. a patient of the original facility. One or more cooperation-requested providers to which are transmitted cooperation requests exploring whether an appeal for cooperation will be accepted is designated by the medical professional (M) of a clinic (C) where the cooperation request originated, whereupon a group of cooperation-requested providers (RG) comprising the designated cooperation-requested providers is generated, and a cooperation request timeline for the group of cooperation-requested providers (RG) is generated. The content of the cooperation request inputted by the originator is displayed on the cooperation request timeline, and a cooperating provider desired by the originator can be selected/determined through the exchange of messages between the originator and the one or more cooperation-requested providers on the cooperation request timeline. |
