A method for realizing early warning and a server. The method comprises: receiving, by a server, an early warning instruction; according to the early warning instruction, redirecting, by the server, a channel where a terminal device connected to the server is located currently to an early warning channel; and sending, by the server, early warning information to the terminal device through the early warning channel. By means of the solution of the present invention, early warning information is sent to a terminal device through an early warning channel, thereby notifying common people of cells of the early warning information in time. |
