FIELD: physics, optics.SUBSTANCE: fluid lens assembly comprises noncircular stiff lens with non-spherical front surface, flexible membrane secured to rear surface said of noncircular stiff lens so that cavity is formed between stiff lens front and rear surfaces as well as vessel communicated with said cavity for fluid transfer there between to vary the fluid lens optical force. In compliance with first version, non-spherical front surface decreases, at least partially, the optical error caused by fluid placed in said cavity. In compliance with second version, said flexible membrane has elliptical part change in shape of which differs from that outside said elliptical part at fluid transfer between aforesaid vessel and cavity.EFFECT: compensated astigmatism.12 cl, 12 dwg, 3 tbl |
