<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a heat exchanger that if the heat exchanger is cooled by heat radiation in the frequent starting and stopping of the heat exchanger, a delay time is caused until hot water is heated for that portion, and the efficiency of the heat exchanger is also deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger comprising a first heat transfer tube 11 for carrying hot water and a second heat transfer tube 13 for carrying a refrigerant which are folded in a multilayer state, the whole outer shape surface formed of the first heat transfer tube 11 and the second heat transfer tube 13 is covered with a foam heat insulating body 23 in contact therewith. Therefore, the thermal loss of a water-refrigerant heat exchanger can be reduced to enhance the total efficiency of a water heater, and the miniaturization of the water heater can be also attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
