<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil amount adjusting device capable of reducing a residual oil amount remaining in an oil pan during oil discharge, and improving workability during oil pan disassembling. <P>SOLUTION: The oil amount adjusting device capable of adjusting an oil amount filled in the oil pan 3 is composed by forming a drain hole D used as an oil outlet formed vertically in a cylindrical member 4 fixed to the bottom of the oil pan 3, a pipe-like member 5 detachably attached to the drain hole D and protruding from the drain hole D into the oil pan 3, a drain plug 6 detachably attached to the drain hole D so as to seal the drain hole D, and a communication hole 4d positioned lower than the upper end face 4b of the drain hole D and making the drain hole D communicate with an interior of the oil pan 3 only in a state of the pipe-like member 5 detached from the drain hole D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
