ELEVATION CHANGE SYSTEM FOR A ROTARY DEVICE

An elevation change mechanism (30) is disclosed for adjusting the elevation of a rotatable element (32A-32H) of a rotary device (22) in a direction parallel to the axis (A) about which the rotatable element (32A-32H) rotates. The rotary device (22) can be: a filler, capper, labeler, a star wheel conveyor, or other rotary device. In some cases, the same motor (26) that rotates the rotary device (22) about the axis (A) is used to move the elevation change mechanism (30) in a direction parallel to the axis (A).
