A nylon 66 false twist yarn and a method for producing the same are provided to produce a highly elastic twist yarn and a highly elastic fabric, by using a nylon 66 undrawn yarn and precisely regulating process conditions. A nylon 66 undrawn yarn(1) is supplied to a first feed roller(2), and then heated at a temperature of 200-240°C by a heater(3). The heated yarn is cooled through a cooling plate(4). The cooled yarn is false-twisted at a twist ratio of 1.7-1.9 by a false twister(5). The false-twisted yarn is passed through a second feed roller(6) to have a draw ratio of 1.4-1.6, and then interlaced by an interlacing nozzle(7). The interlaced yarn is passed through a third feed roller(8), and then treated with an oiling agent. The treated yarn is wound around a winding drum. Further, an air pressure of the interlacing nozzle is 0.8 to 2.2 kg/cm^2.
