<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive sheet hole punching apparatus which changes the control of a driving motor according to paper thickness and material of a punched sheet in punching sheets by a punching member. <P>SOLUTION: An operational timing of a brake means for braking the rotation of the driving motor is changed according to the paper thickness and/or material of the punched sheet, so that the punching member is controlled to be stopped at a prescribed stop position (home position). For this purpose, the constitution comprises: the punching member reciprocatable between a top dead center and a bottom dead center; the driving motor for driving the punching member; a transmitting means for converting the rotational motion of the driving motor into the reciprocating motion of the punching member, and transmitting the same; and a drive control means for controlling the driving motor. The drive control means has a brake means for braking the rotation of the driving motor, and the control means changes the operational timing of the brake means according to the paper thickness and/or material of the punched sheet to control the stop position of the punching member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
